The Journal of Taylor's Outback

Sharing thoughts & ideas about quilting, gardening, family (the furry kind too – shelties rule!) and anything else that comes to mind. I love to read your comments & will do my best to respond. Thank you for visiting and come back often…coffee or tea always on hand & I love to make scones!

Short ‘n Sweet

December 5, 2010 by taylorsoutback

Pretty quiet at Taylorsoutback…

A few snowflakes here and there…

Our Packers won a good game against the 49er’s…

I got 4 dinner napkins made…

And started on 4 placemats…

We found these goodies at Sam’s Club on Friday…Creme Brulee Almonds and…

So, I enjoyed a mug of hot Honeycrisp Apple Cider…

Think I will curl up with a new book by the fire this evening…

(I love Kate Morton’s books, The House At Riverton and The Forgotten Garden…)

Taking Tylenol and feeling a bit under the weather…

Have a good week and I will be back later…

Pat

It is the season to catch “something”… sorry you are feeling out of sorts… we have got to stop hugging everyone we see at Christmas, as I am sure that is where I found my sinus infection. The circle napkins are just so darn cute and I love your colors… I made them for Christmas presents last year and they were a really big hit. I will have to look for the Kate Morton books as I have not heard of this author. Wishing you well and take care of yourself.

Snowflakes, good snacks and a good book. Sounds like a great time to me. Hope you feel better.

I want to make some circular napkins! They look so fancy folded like that. Hope you feel better soon. A good book and warm fire sound like the perfect medicine.

I just finished and enjoyed The Forgotten Garden. I look forward to seeing how the new book is. I hope you feel better!
