Welcome to 2010! I am 65, married for 43 years to John – we have one son who is a photographer-guide living his dream in Alaska.
I love to garden, grow my own herbs, putter in the kitchen, read good books and have my iPod Touch loaded with all kinds of music – classical, folk, pop, even a smattering of New Age for relaxation.
We live in Northern Wisconsin in a log house on 40 acres and enjoy watching for bears, deer and a wide variety of waterfowl who visit our pond.
Most of all – I love to quilt and have dedicated this new year to learning how to hand applique.
Hi, I seen a picture of your birthday quilt and just loved it so much that I had to make one. keep in mind that I am not a quilter;) but I guess maybe you could say I am now… I finished my quilt about a week ago and today dropped it off to be quilted, then I will be gifting it to my sister- If you would like to see a picture of it let me know, I’m not sure how to post a picture but I can surely e-mail a picture… thank you for posting your wonderful quilt it was my inspiration, thanks again, Janet
